Thank you to the students, parents, staff members, board members, and community members who have offered their support during our collaboration these six years I have been principal.
I have given enough final speeches and emails and video announcements, so I will simply leave with the above "thank you," and please know I feel privileged at having been Principal of Niles West.
Beginning June 10, all inquiries for the Principal of Niles West should be directed to Dr. Jason Ness to whom I wish great success.

May 25-31: Memorial Day and Graduation Week
Parents, Colleagues, Students and Community Members
My best wishes to you and your families honoring Memorial Day. Hopefully we will all have an opportunity to take a moment to somehow recognize the men and women who have died while serving in our Armed Forces.
And a big congrats to our Seniors on their last official day of class on Friday. It was my last Senior Day too and I am truly grateful for all this Senior class and school have done for me. A particular shout out goes to the boys in my homeroom. We have been together almost every school day for four years, and it has been my honor to get to watch them grow into young men. I look forward to keeping in touch with each and every one of them for the rest of our lives.
A few other notes on the upcoming week:
Graduation is May 30
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or my Executive Assistant, Mrs. Judy Wheatman, at 847-626-2511
Finally, regular final exams takes place for 9th through 11th graders on June 5, 6, and 7. Please CLICK ON THIS LINK to go to The Final Exam page.
